If you’re making porn, make it where they are happy for porn to be made.

Shooting elsewhere, is dangerous. In particular :-
AIRbnb (and other “cool place”, “actual homes”, “we’re not corporate, honest” vibe services) : Will BAN you for life. Owners can also sue you for breach of contract and reputational damage. And they can report you to the platforms, who might then drop you. Because you just made the platform – which has money – a target for a lawsuit by the property owner. And platforms don’t want that aggro. You just made yourself more trouble to them than you are worth.
As a rule, if it’s a cool place that the owner, or their friends, might recognise, it could kill your career to shoot there.
The same can apply to hotels and corporate bland apartments etc, but in practice, so long as their branding or design ethic (if they have one) can’t be seen, they generally don’t care.
But, best to stay safe and shoot where porn people are welcome 🙂
These locations are all available for hire for porn shoots.
- The owners are happy to provide a Location Release proving that they gave permission for the porn shoot.
- If you have a location – apartment, home, studio – that you happy for people to make porn in, let me know and I’ll list it. If you have a URL for it, I’ll link to that, or just use your twitter, whatever you prefer.
