YourSafe (was Bitsafe, but name change to avoid confusion with bitcoin)

Update : Haven’t changed as the links still work as of April 2023

Bitsafe, is BRILLIANT! at protecting your bank account.

It’s basically a Collections Account – it collects all your money from platforms etc, for you do with as you like – send to your main bank, or spend using their card. In doing so, it hides the source of your income from nosey banks.

Banks are closing adult industry accounts. Not all of them, not all banks, but even if your bank is cool, now, if they change their mind, you’re toast.

Banks do not like Adult : Some close accounts because they have objections to our industry. As more people have an MV and OF and AW, banks are starting to notice what those incoming payments mean.

Banks do not like Personal Accounts being used for Business purposes : This is actually a general rule, and even taxi drivers etc can get caught out. Taxi drivers will normally be told to open a Business Account. We, however, tend to just get closed.

PROTECT YOUR BANK ACCOUNT by routing all the scary adult industry payments via Bitsafe.

So, I found it when it turned up as a payout option under ManyVids, so, looked into it, and opened an account.

What is Bitsafe?

It’s a Dutch sort of bank. Basically, they look like a bank. they’re on the banking system. AND THEY LOVE ADULT AND SW!

Yes – they are fine with how we earn our living, inc FSSW.

So, it’s an Account FOR US.

No more wondering if a prude at your bank will tell you to bank elsewhere because you got paid by OF.

How does it protect my main bank account?

It lets you have your scary payments – e.g. from platforms – go to Bitsafe.

Then you simply do a transfer from your Bitsafe to your bank. All your bank sees is that you are sending money from your account somewhere else (Bitsafe), to your account with them, and “nothing to see here”. Nothing from OF, MV or anyone else that might give them conniptions.

Who can have a Bitsafe Account?

Anyone, anywhere.

Certainly they seem fine with Europeans, Brits, Canadian, Americans etc. So, try them.

How to use a Bitsafe Account

Accept payments from Platforms and other adulty sources.

Then just have Bitsafe send the money to your main bank account.

This way your bank can no longer see where your money comes from – OF, MV etc – and their delicate sensibilities will remain unperturbed, and your main banking continues.

You can also have a Bitsafe Debit Card if you like and just spend on it. Very useful if you spend time in Euro countries OR live somewhere that would otherwise need SWIFT.

Can you use Bitsafe to hide your name?

This is the “FSSW not wanting to give their client their real name” issue.

No. Not if you have a Talent account. This is their Personal Account. SEPA transfers require an account name.

SWIFT, I can’t speak to, but no one uses that for small transactions anyway.

Bitsafe also offer a BUSINESS account. As such I would expect this to allow a Trading As style, which would hide your real name, but I haven’t checked, so, ask.

Are Client Names hidden?

I sent myself money from a personal account in the UK to my personal Bitsafe account. In my Bitsafe account only the name of the bank, it’s IBAN/BIC and ref notes show up. My name did not.

I’m a cash business (aka Stripper)

TBH your existing bank is probably fine with your cash, if they know what you do. If you’ve told them something else though and your bank is the Good Christian Trump Bank Of Our Lord USA, have a Plan B.

You can’t dump cash into a Bitsafe.

But you could, give the club (or a friend who knows your real name) the cash for them to bank, and send equal funds to your Bitsafe.

It’s not money laundering unless the source of funds was illegal or it’s tax shenanigan’s.

Costs

Getting Money IN (ie getting paid by Platforms)

  • If the platform offers a Bitsafe option, free. ManyVids offers a Bitsafe payment. Other platforms I haven’t checked.
  • If the platform offers a payment in Euros option, free
  • If the platform offers SEPA payments, free.

However, for payments that are not in Euros, there can be a 25 Euro deposit fee, so you wouldn’t want to do this if you were being sent a $100 payout. At a $1000, well, worth it because clearly losing your normal bank will be a total shitstorm. Talk to your platforms, see where you stand.

Taking money OUT

EU and UK (and any other SEPA countries) : the costs are bugger all if you just do a monthly “sweep all the money out to my main account” thing, or use the Debit Card to do spend the money that way. ATM withdrawals have fees, so that’s not a good way to use the card.

UK : Is in SEPA, so although you end up with Pounds in your account, the transaction is done in Euros, then converted by your bank. Expect to drop about 3% on the exchange rate.

USA : SWIFT is expensive but cheques are cheap for pulling your money out. (USA still uses cheques, how quaint). The Debit Card might make sense.

Elsewhere : I think you need SWIFT for sweeping out hundreds of Euros, but for smaller sums, if you need cash, the ATM route is cheapest.

What to do?

Get an account, make it your payment option re ManyVids

Where platforms don’t offer Bitsafe, because Bitsafe is on the international banking system and your account has an IBAN, any platform that can to your bank, can send to your Bitsafe. But do check if the 25 Euro deposit fee applies.

Fancy some FREE MONEY? They’ll give you 10 Euros if you use this link 🙂
