Google Drive – The Rules and the Risks

TLDR – don’t rely on Google Drive for storing or distributing content.

From Googles own info :-

“Do not distribute content that contains sexually explicit material, such as nudity, graphic sex acts and pornographic material. This includes driving traffic to commercial pornography sites. We allow nudity for educational, documentary, scientific or artistic purposes.”

BE AWARE that google use scanning – now, so far, I have not heard of this killing people’s porn stash, but have read reports about it causing problems for other legal users

So, scanning for legal porn (and then deleting it) is really just a policy decision away. Admit it – you don’t keep up to speed with Google’s policies, and so the first you’d know is when all your data is gone.
