If I was an escort in the modern world, I’d have a hidden camera. Escorts I know had them back in the 90’s. I’m surprised that so many now don’t.

In a domestic property. Someone’s home (owned or rented).

In a commercial property you control, you need to register and have signs up. But signs can be vague – “CCTV for safety and crime prevention”.

In a hotel/apartment, no idea, but in context, safety first.

Keeping/Using the recordings

DO NOT. You cannot use them for any purpose except giving to the police. You must have a solid delete process (if it’s recording to an SD card that overwrites old with new, that’s OK. If it’s to a hard drive or the Cloud, ensure you have a delete after a few days programmed in, or do it yourself each week).
