For SW Creators and FSSW and other SW roles.

Philosophy : We need somewhere where we can sell content and services without worrying about platform rules, credit card censorship, or losing a huge percentage of our money in fees.

Every mainstream service and platform we use, we can lose if a lawyer advises the company that there is investor risk, or reputational risk, let alone legal risk.

We all need our own site.

So we all need something easy to set up and manage, and which is affordable. But has the capacity to grow in terms of features, functions and designs, as you learn what works for you, and grow in confidence to either DIY or involve a designer.

That’s what this service is all about. Your own site. You are in control.

• Develop it into something amazing (either by yourself as a learning experience, or get a designer in).
• Move it to your own hosting if you ever need to get that complex

Simplicity : We assume you have a way of getting paid – Bitcoin, Paypal, CashApp, Throne, Gift cards, whatever method you like. So this site is all about making clear what you are selling, and how you need to be paid.

Designs : Our standard designs are Responsive, which means they work well on phones**

• Design A : Blog Style Layout, Navigation Menu, Tagged Searchable content.
• Design B : Fixed Page, Navigation Menu, Tagged Searchable Content.
• Design C : Whatever you like – DIY or get a designer in. You have that level of control because it’s a full WordPress install:-)

What we need :-

• Your Email
• Your Banner image to go at the top of the page.
• Promotional stills and (if you have one) trailer package for a few of your scenes. We don’t need the scenes themselves.

We put in placeholder text, you just change it to your own.

Technical Notes

This a FULL WordPress Install, with a bare minimum of additional plugins.

• Real Media Library – organise media into folders
• Bitcoin Lightning Publisher – to get paid with Lightning Bitcoin and use paywalls. Grants buyers instant access, but, to be fair, not too many people have it yet.
• Any other plugins you need, just add them. For example, you might want to add a plugin to do Backups.

Design – We have a few basic design options. This is to allow you to make changes easily.

If you want something more complex and gorgeous, a designer can work their magic.

Content Sales – you will need a Dropbox account or other file service to store your big content files. I use Dropbox.

*Your content needs to be legal where you are, and in Netherlands, where the hosting is. Netherlands is very relaxed – basically you must be able to prove that everyone involved was willing, consenting, knew it was for distribution, and be an 18+ years old human. If you make kink/fetish content where legality varies, seek your own legal advice, but generally, if it’s legal in your country, it’s probably OK in Netherlands.

**If you want to work on your own design, or have a designer do so, be aware that one of the common errors is to build something that looks gorgeous on a Desktop, but doesn’t work on mobile. Key Tip – keep it simple, no clutter.
